In today’s workshop, using diagrams, demonstrations, and supervised hands-on experience, we will learn how to perform specific treatment protocols for: cheekbone sculpting, sagging cheeks and jowls, enlarged pores, oily skin/acne, dry skin, puffiness, double chin, enlarged temporal veins, furrows and more. Acupressure on the face can improve not just the appearance but the health of the whole body. A three-day course with Virginia Doran (USA) This course takes place at 9,10 and 11 November 2012 at the Victoria Hotel in Amsterdam. The course contains include a written and practical exam, which official certification is affiliated. The maximum number of participants for this course is 30. On Day 1 (Friday): massage, acupressure and Qi Gong Massage techniques for rejuvenating the face. Also preparing for locating and palpating various points used in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. Many of these points are not taught in regular courses, but based on the professional experience of Virgina Doran. Furthermore, the benefits and contraindications of Facial Rejuvenation Massage treated as special techniques for signs of aging and imbalance.
On Day 2 (Saturday): Didactic portion including introduction of FRA, history of cosmetic acupuncture and philosophy of FRA, contraindications for treatment. In addition, knowledge of materials for FRA and guidelines for history FRA. After lunch: points for specific conditions (bags under the eyes, jaw line, drooping eyelids, wrinkles around the lips, double chin, pallor, puffiness of the face and eyelids, redness of the face, dry skin, enlarged pores, acne, eyebrow abnormalities and age spots.) Further important points for FRA, distal and auriculotherapy points FRA, Virginia Doran’s FRA Treatment protocol including needle techniques sepcifieke conditions such as wrinkles, scars, capillaries, age spots, acne scars, temporal arteries, double chin, jaw bone sculpting. Also a treatment demonstration by Virginia Doran FRA.
On Day 3 (Sunday): Questions and Answers and written exam. 25 questions multiple choice. After clinical lesson with supervision. After lunch, practical, perform FRA treatment colleague. Then ask, evaluation forms and award certificates to participants.
